GUITAR LESSONS
(1-on-1)
What can you expect from my lessons?
-
Live 70-minute video call sessions.
-
A shared Google Doc updated in real time with everything we cover: theory, exercises, links, assignments, diagrams, screenshots. No need to take notes—it’s all ready for you to review or print.
-
Screen sharing with hand-drawn sketches and colorful diagrams to explain harmony and composition like a digital whiteboard.
-
A 10-minute video summary after each class, highlighting key concepts and assignments.
-
A personalized study plan designed to make you independent. The goal is for you to learn how to study on your own, solve problems by yourself, and keep growing without relying on a teacher.
What are the assignments like?
- I won't spoon-feed you. Instead, you'll get questions, exercises, and challenges to explore on your own, draw your own conclusions, and bring your ideas to the next class. That’s where we fine-tune things and move forward. It’s a slower path, but much more solid.
How many classes can you take?
- A maximum of 10 per person.
After that, we only continue if there’s a specific reason. This is key to avoid dependency. I'd rather give you tools for life than keep feeding you small doses of info forever..
What do I teach?
- Chords, soloing, and composition in Jazz, Blues, Swing, Rock & Roll, and Gypsy Jazz.
- How to improvise without relying solely on the pentatonic scale.
- How to use the pentatonic scale more musically and expressively.
- Creative composition techniques.
- How to record at home, create videos, and share your music.
- Studying without an instrument, staying organized, and staying motivated.
What don’t I teach?
- Funk, Indie, Reggae, Metal, or Grunge.
- We don’t do covers—this is about improvisation and composition.
- I don’t use sheet music.
- I don’t teach total beginners—technique is too important at the start, and I can’t supervise that properly over a video call. That being said, if you think I can help you with theory or musical motivation, I’m here. :)
